I enjoy digging up treasures of my family's past family stories past down from generation to generation or letters, memorabilia, heirlooms or even where they lived, what they did for a living or even just a name. I have been researching my family's history for over 10 years and plan on many more to come.
This is an old letter written to my great grandmother (Winnie Johnson Parten) from her father (Joseph Green Johnson) during the time he was living with his younger daughter, Maude in Cleburne, Texas. Joseph Johnson passed away the follow June.
